Recognizing Flirting Signs through Body Language

Body language is a great way to recognize flirting signs, provided that you know what to look for.

Men and women do things with their bodies that can expose their true feelings or intentions deliberately or inadvertently, especially if they are attracted to someone. This is known as body language.

Sometimes, even if you do not want to show it, your body will betray you; and a person who knows how to read body language can easily pick up on it.

On the other hand, men and women sometimes deliberately display flirting signals, hoping that the center of their attraction will catch the sign. But what do you do when you cannot recognize it? You will have missed your chance with that individual.

If you find someone rather interesting, there are ways to know if he or she is also interested in you, by looking at the faint flirting signals that he or she may display towards you through body language.

Statistics have shown that women tend to show flirting signals for often than men. A typical sign that a woman is interested in you or admiring you is the look away technique. A flirting woman will look at you and once you look back at her, she quickly looks away. If your eyes stay at her until she looks back at you, you will have sent her a message that you are also interested or are admiring her also.

Aside from glances, you should also pay attention to what she does with her hair. Tossing her hair exposing a better view of her face and drawing attention towards her neck is also a sign which displays attraction. The act of running her fingers through her hair can also be a flirting signal that you should look out for.

Aside from the hair, you should also check out what she does with her lips. A woman frequently moistening her lips with her tongue is flirting, as well as the ever so sexy subtle biting of the lower lip.

Fiddling with cylindrical objects like bottle necks, pencils or pens, lipstick cases, or even just wine glass stems can be a flirting display. If the woman is seated in such a way that exposes a portion of her inner thigh towards you, while doing some of those things previously mentioned, she is certainly showing interest towards you by sending flirting signals through body language.

As you can see, there are many different flirting signs that you can learn from reading body language. The body language of men and women may vary, but they are all hinting the same thing, “I like you.” or “You are hot!” Whatever they are hinting at, all of it starts from attraction.
